About Me
My name is Marcelo Barberini, born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, and I am a UI & UX Designer with an eye for Visual Design and a passion for gaming since I was a child. In 2015, at 17 years old, I was invited to be part of the first class on a newly created Google for Education program called Student Tutor, where students helped develop digital culture in their schools through the tutoring of teachers and other staff on the use of Google's tools. It was during this program, that I discovered my interest in understanding user pains and solving their issues.
One of my favorite games of all time once taught me a valuable lesson:
It’s tempting to linger in this moment, while every possibility still exists. But unless they are collapsed by an observer, they will never be more than possibilities.
I believe innovation only exists through bold reiterations of failed solutions, and through trial and error it is possible to design solutions to any problem. Architecting experiences for innovative solutions that positively impact others is what made me want to become a designer.
So if you're interested in my work, we should talk! :)
